Canine Good Citizen

 

We will be offering a CGC test -

Spring 2017

 

Help your companion (dog) become a respected member of your community!

Has your home owners insurance highly requested or even required you to cover your dog on your insurance policy?  Some insurances have done this and used the AKC CGC as documented proof of the dogs character!

 

Remember: AKC now recognizes the CGC as a title for your dog and you can receive a certificate from AKC if you pass the test!

Canine Good Citizen® Becomes a Title!

As of January 1, 2013, Canine Good Citizen® will become an official AKC title that can appear on the title records of dogs registered or listed with AKC. Dog owners who complete the CGC as a Title process may list the suffix “CGC” after the dog’s name.
